ADingest is an advanced matching
software designed to collect and validate
advertisement expenditure data related
to the insertion of adverts in the
press. ADingest uses sophisticated
image processing techniques to extract
accurate quantitative and qualitative
ADEX
data, which will later be used to
monitor advertising campaigns, from
a wide range of publication formats.
With ADingest, every advert is digitized,
stored in an image database, and validated
against the existing adverts in the
database; further appearances of the
same advert will be added as insertions
to the system, which will also recognize
its different versions. ADEX data
acquired by ADingest can be easily
integrated into existing ADEX monitoring
systems.
ADingest works over any ODBC database,
and consists of three steps: Acquisition,
Annotation and Validation.
