Barcelona, 22nd May 2003 – Visual Century presented its video management and publishing solutions during the First XML Business Solutions World, organized by Software AG, which took place in Madrid last Tuesday.

ViA2 Platform, the video management solution developed by Visual Century and commercialized worldwide by Software AG, enables the digitization, archiving and search of videos in a simple and visual way. ViA2 Platform addresses the needs of any company using or wanting to use video contents both internally and externally, in tasks as diverse as corporate image, training, or CRM.

During the event, Visual Century also presented VisualPublisher, a new video publishing tool that works over ViA2 Platform. VisualPublisher is a digital signage solution for informative and advertising purposes. VisualPublisher makes it possible to send combinations of videos, images and text in a synchronized and personalized way to client groups (PCs or set-top boxes) connected to plasma screens. The resulting content is very attractive and has a highly visual impact. VisualPublisher works over Windows, Linux and set-top boxes and can be remotely programmed and executed.
