  VISUAL CENTURY SPONSORS THE XML BUSINESS SOLUTIONS WORLD CONFERENCE IN MADRID  
     
 

Barcelona, 25th April 2003 – Visual Century has announced that it will sponsor the First XML Business Solutions World Conference, a forum which will take place at the Madrid Palace of Congresses on May 20th, alongside companies such as Hewlett-Packard, PricewaterhouseCoopers or Sun Microsystems.

The aim of the event, organized by Software AG, is to present the characteristics of this new business standard, currently consolidated as the most flexible and adequate to exchange, publish and store structured data. It will be a unique opportunity to obtain first-hand information on XML from the hand of such experts as Dale Waldt of OASIS or David Metcalfe of Forrester.

Within the frame of the event, Visual Century will lead a business session that will analyze the role of XML in the Media & Publishing sector. Amongst other topics, the session will discuss return on investment of XML-based solutions and new business scenarios in the wake of the XXIst century.
