  SOFTWARE AG AND VISUAL CENTURY RESEARCH SIGN A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT  
     
 

BARCELONA, March 13th, 2002 - Visual Century Research (VCR), provider of video asset management solutions, and Software AG, Europe's largest systems software provider and a pioneer in Extensible Markup Language (XML) technologies, announced today the signature of a partnership agreement.

Under the agreement, Software AG will market and pre-sell the VCR ViA2 Platform system along with Software AG's Tamino XML Server to new and existing enterprise customers to provide them with an integrated XML video asset management solution. "Tamino integrates easily with ViA2 Platmform, which enables us to offer a complete and advanced video asset management solution based on XML technology to current and potential customers," said Ferran Muñoz of Visual Century Research.
